EU: FAIRsFAIR Project - Workshops and Consultation reg. Research Data Manmanagement
As part of the EU-funded project "FAIRsFAIR - Fostering Fair Data Practices in Europe", the European University Association, in cooperation with the University of Amsterdam and the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, is organising workshops on research data management.
The "FAIRsFAIR" project, funded under the initiative for a European Open Science Cloud (EOSC), aims to develop practical solutions for the application of the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) in the handling of research data. FAIRsFAIR is to play a key role in the development of global standards for "FAIR certification" of repositories and the data they contain, thus contributing to the emergence of the European Open Science Cloud.
Among other things, the project aims to evaluate the capabilities, practices, services and policies needed to make research data searchable, accessible, interoperable and reusable. To this end, two consultations will run until 20 September, through which the expert community can contribute to the discussion.
